A leading organisation are looking to add a Production Technician to join their growing Production Team based in Oxford, Oxfordshire. This company develop state-of-the-art complex embedded products and are sold all over the world.

They are market leaders in their industry and are growing year on year. Due to growth, they are looking to add a Production Technician. The successful candidate will join the Production Team, with in the Operations Department.

Key Responsibilities for The Production Technician Role in Oxford:

• Accurately assemble the company’s products in accordance with the relevant work instructions.
• Manufacture to a high standard, and in accordance with relevant work instructions, all cables, components and sub-assemblies produced by the company in house.
• Observe anti-static precautions at all stages of assembly, test, calibration and service processes.
• Test all completed products in accordance with relevant work instructions.
• Fit electronic boards to a test jig and verify their operation using computerized testers.
• Have basic working knowledge of ISO17025 and how its requirements relate to the calibration activity.

Experience Required for The Production Technician Role in Oxford:

• Able to assembly small mechanical enclosures containing framework and electrical PCBs
• Experience of working in an electrical assembly environment, making/assembling electrical products. (Ideally small scale, low volume, fast paced high-tech environment).
• GCSE or equivalent
• Computer literate; experience of using Microsoft windows to input product data
