NEW SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER – MEDICAL JOB AVAILABLE IN WARWICK, WARWICKSHIRE
A leading technology business with nearly 60 years of experience are expanding their R&D team. With new and exciting projects coming in they require talented engineers to join their multi-disciplined engineering team in Warwick, Warwickshire. As part of their growth plans, they are seeking a skilled Mechanical / Product Design Engineer – Plastics to join the team.
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Medical you will work within a product development team and assist in the development of complex products which are used within medical and life science industries. You will work on projects for medical, life science, consumer, and industrial markets. You will be focused on CAD design using SolidWorks, as well as other computer aided engineering tools to ensure product design projects meet specification.
The ideal Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Medical will have the following skills / experience:
- A strong background in Mechanical / Product Design.
- Experience in working with plastics injection moulding and metal parts.
- Experience with electro-mechanical devices, systems, or instrumentation.
- Previous exposure to FEA, Tolerance Analysis, or Mathematical Modelling would be beneficial but not essential.
- To have obtained a relevant Mechanical or Product Engineering degree (2:1 or 1st class).
This Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Medical job will provide you with the opportunity to work on the full development lifecycle. You will work with the customer of specification requirements and work on design from initial concept through to prototype. This job is based in Warwick and is commutable from part of the West Midlands (Coventry, Birmingham, Redditch), Warwickshire (Warwick, Royal Leamington Spa, Nuneaton, Stratford-upon-Avon, Rugby), Oxfordshire (Banbury), and Leicestershire.
