Due to continued growth, a market-leading technology business producing cutting-edge visual technologies are looking for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join their R&D site near Worthing, West Sussex.

Responsibilities of the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job:

• Leading hardware projects and ensuring products are designed to a high standard
• Requirements capture for new PCB designs and work closely with external suppliers, managing the outsourced work
• Supporting the process of gaining product certification and managing component obsolescence
• Supporting other team members such as software developers, marketing and sales departments and systems engineers around the electronic design activity

Key skills / experience required for the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job:

• Proven electronic design and development experience
• Experience of requirements capture for new designs
• Experience of managing external suppliers
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills and able to effectively present technical information
• Comfortable working alone or as part of a small team
• There may be occasional travel involved to customer sites both in the UK and abroad
