• The successful candidate will join the Quality Team, reporting to the Quality Manager.

2. About the Role

• We are recruiting for a Quality Engineer who will sit within the Quality Team. This role will report into the Quality Manager.

• The Quality Engineer – Systems will be responsible for supporting the administration and coordination of all quality processes within the team in order to ensure compliance with the relevant standards.

3.2. Expertise / Technical Competence

Problem solving • Knowledge and experience of root cause analysis and corrective action,

logical approach to resolution of issues.

Data • Proven experience of collating, analysing, and presenting data.

Engineering • Prior experience of working in a similar role within an engineering

environment.

Quality • Working in an ISO9001 or similar environment.

IT Skills • Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft packages including Word,

Excel, and Outlook.

Knowledge • Experience of working in a practical electronics environment.

Auditing

• Experience in conducting audits against ISO9001, processing audit

documentation and improvement reports.

• Experience in administration and maintenance of the Quality Management

System (QMS)

compliance.

4. Other

o Candidates should be willing to commute to our offices in Upper Heyford.

o The role will be supervised by the Quality Manager.

5. Salary and Benefits

o The salary for this role will be up to £36,000.00 depending on experience.

o In addition, the role is eligible for a discretionary profit share bonus which will be at the absolute discretion of the Company and if applicable the employee will be notified in writing

o Holiday entitlement is 27 days plus bank holidays. The holiday year runs from 1st July to 30th June.

o Normal hours of work will be 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday with half an hour for.

o There will be the opportunity for the successful candidate to work remotely under the Hybrid Flexible Working Policy. The current expectation is that employees will be in the office a minimum of one day per week. However, this is dependent on business and team needs and is at the discretion of the line manager. Additionally, during the probationary period, the employee will need to be in the office more regularly than this for training and product & process familiarisation etc.

6.1. Interviews

• Agencies will receive the “Agency Brief” and role description from which they will supply CVs.

• Director of Operations and Quality Manger will do the initial CV assessment and selection.

• Quality Manager will conduct the screening call which will be a Teams meeting (30 minutes).

• The second interview will be a face-to-face meeting (2 hours); the technical stage will be conducted by Quality Manager and Director of Operations.

o If candidates are successful at technical stage, a member of the HR team will join to conduct the behavioural portion of the interview.

• The first and second interview panel will then decide which candidate to offer to.

• Throughout the recruitment, HR will handle liaison with agencies and relevant filing.
