A leading research & development organisation are seeking a skilled Electronic Design Engineer – Analogue/Digital to join their growing engineering team on their site in Livingston, West Lothian.
In this Electronic Design Engineer – Analogue/Digital job you will be working closely with a multi-disciplined R&D team on the development of complex scientific electronic products and systems.
Key responsibilities of the Electronic Design Engineer – Analogue/Digital job:
- Undertake the design and development of electronic products or systems
- Participate in the specification of the electronic aspects of bespoke systems
- Produce and maintain design documentation
- Ensure that designs comply with international standards and meet European requirements for self-certification of Company products (CE mark).
- Provide technical support to other areas in the business when required
Skills / experience required for the Electronic Design Engineer – Analogue/Digital job:
- A proven background of working on electronic development in an R&D environment
- Experience of schematic capture, component selection and PCB layout
- Ability to develop analogue and digital electronics
- Experience of writing embedded code in C/C++ would be beneficial
