Are you an experienced IT Project Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to lead a significant IT infrastructure implementation project?

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Project Manager to take charge of our client’s project to upgrade their global SAP system. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring the implementation is completed within agreed timescales and budget.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Define and document project scope, objectives and desired outcomes.
• Create detail project plans of what work needs to be done, when and by who.
• Organize and coordinate activities with cross-functional teams in accordance with project deliverables.
• Estimate resource requirements, acquire it effectively and manage efficiently.
• Track project performance against time, budget and outcomes to ensure project goals are met.
• Proactively identify and assess project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and escalate critical issues to senior management as needed.
• Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are met.
• Identify and manage dependencies with the project and business.
• Lead project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency regarding project issues and decisions.
• Producing accurate and timely reporting of project status throughout its lifecycle 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Significant experience in Project Management, preferably in a growing manufacturing/technology company.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically delivering business systems projects on a global scale.
• Experience managing multiple projects and/or workstream simultaneously.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Collaborative problem solver who takes ownership of issues and drives to resolution.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing/Logistics/Supply Chain function.
• Analytical and process-oriented mindset.
• Ability to analyse data and convey actionable insights to executives.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2 etc…) is highly desirable.
• Experience using PPM (Project Portfolio Management) tools.
• Candidate must be willing and able to travel.
