NEW CALIBRATION ENGINEER JOB BASED IN LETCHWORTH, HERTFORDSHIRE.

Our client based in Letchworth, Hertfordshire specialise in calibrating a range of test equipment in the Defence and Aerospace sector.

Responsibilities –

• Undertake repair tasks for equipment to defined parameters, addressing customer requirements effectively.
• Conduct calibration of designated equipment at customer sites within specified parameters, meticulously recording and evaluating all essential data, and providing technical feedback as required.
• Liaise with the Laboratory Manager and collaborate with team members to expedite workflow and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Undertake any additional tasks as required by the Engineering Manager, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• To read and understand and comply with all QMS documentation, including the Quality Policy and Quality
• Objectives and to understand that everyone has a commitment to quality.

Qualifications –

• QNC, HNC or Higher in Engineering, or relevant experience
• 3 years’ experience in calibration

Skills and Attributes –

• Strong decision-making skills with a bias for action.
• Great technical skills and knowledge of instrumentation, measurement techniques and calibration procedures.
