G&H is a global leader in optical design, testing, and manufacturing, providing cutting-edge optical systems and components for demanding applications. We are looking for a skilled Cost Control Engineer to join our fibre optics production team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for optimizing production processes, managing Bills of Materials (BOM), and analysing yield data to improve cost efficiency and product quality. You’ll work closely with finance, production, and cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

BOM Management: Maintain accurate BOMs to track material use, production processes, and yield data for precise cost forecasting.

Cost Analysis: Identify areas for cost reduction, working with procurement and design teams to optimize materials and processes.

Yield Improvement: Analyse production data to reduce scrap rates and enhance efficiency.

Process Improvement: Implement continuous improvement strategies using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.

Performance Monitoring: Develop KPIs and generate reports to track cost and yield improvements.

Skills and Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably fibre optics or electronics.

Proven experience in BOM management, cost analysis, and yield improvement.

Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.

Strong data analysis skills and experience with ERP/MRP systems.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
