A global technology business with a research and development site in Royston, Hertfordshire are expanding their design team and looking to add an Electronics Design Engineer.
The company are working on high-tech industrial equipment that is used in a range of industries such as Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences. The Royston site is a new, purpose-built facility commutable from Cambridgeshire & Bedfordshire and there are always sports and social events happening to participate in!
Responsibilities of the Electronics Design Engineer job:
- Produce hardware designs for industrial applications, ensuring they comply with standards.
- Ensure all development projects are delivered on time and in budget.
- Resolve issues by working closely with manufacturing and suppliers.
- Produce manufacturing test process.
- Evaluation testing of new designs and produce manufacturing test processes.
Skills / experience required for the Electronics Design Engineer job:
- Proven full life cycle electronics design experience
- A good understanding of analogue & digital electronics
- A self-starter that is able to use their own initiative to work out design problems
