A well-established Engineering organisation are looking to add an Electronics Design Engineer to join their design team based in Letchworth, Hertfordshire. As an Electronics Design Engineer you will be working on the design of new products and supporting existing products within a range of industries including Automotive, Defence and Medical.
Applicants must be eligible to obtain UK security clearance for this role.
Key responsibilities of the Electronics Design Engineer job:
- Analogue design, schematic capture, simulation and circuit board layout
- Design and electrical testing of circuit boards, assembling circuits when necessary
- Select and manage sub-suppliers for components and test services
Key skills / experience required for the Electronics Design Engineer job:
- Analogue design experience – power supplies, radio circuits, audio amplifiers, active and passive filtering
- Board level circuit design experience and knowledge of schematic capture and PCB layout tools
- Experience with a range of electronic test and measurement equipment
