Published Description:
A well-established technology business are looking for an Electronics Design Engineer to join their R&D team near Watford, Hertfordshire.
The Electronics Design Engineer will be producing electronic designs to meet the current roadmap, investigating Session Initiation Protocols (SIP) technologies to be used and introducing solutions into new and existing designs based around. They will also be working closely with the Test team to design test jigs for new projects.
Key Responsibilities of the Electronics Design Engineer job:
- Write design and test specifications
- Carry out feasibility studies and investigations of new projects
- Lead external consultant to perform schematic capture and board layouts
- Lead design reviews internally and with key external suppliers
- Validate prototype builds using test software and relevant test equipment
Skills / experience required for the Electronics Design Engineer job:
- Experience of electronic full lifecycle design
- Analogue and digital design (architecture, component selection, EMC)
- Experience of designing Radio SIPs (Session Initiation Protocols) such as GSM, GNSS, LoRa, Wi-Fi, BLE and ISM
- C/C++ for real-time embedded applications
