We are looking for an Electronics Technician as part of a permanent contract for our site in Ashford.

Main missions:

Reporting to the Technical Director, you carry out the following missions:

  • Designing, implementing and delivering production documents for new products and legacy products updates
  • Demonstrate designs are robust and viable for use in product through testing and driving the team to develop simulations to optimize designs.
  • Ensuring the team generates suitable test specifications to ensure product reliability, safety and robustness including simulation, emulation and hardware/test equipment interactions.
  • Fault-finding & Root cause analysis of issues, troubleshoot and solve simple to complex technical issues.
  • Monitor tool and process stability and drive the development of action plans to reduce any long-term stability issues.
  • Partnering with research & development teams to translate product level goals into cell and pack level performance targets; responsible for defining technical requirements and feasible deliverables.
  • Proactively develop supplier relationship and Lead discussion with supplier on new materials and technologies that will aid the advancement of future battery industry.
  • Deliver knowledge capturing milestone projects including drafting of standards and test procedures.
  • Maintain consistent and documented compliance with all relevant Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE), quality and best practice requirements.
