Key Responsibilities As the Lead Electronics Engineer, you’ll be the driving force behind their electronics. Your mission: design, innovate, and create high-quality electronics that take their products to the next level. Plus, you’ll lead the charge in researching new technologies to supercharge their New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.

 Main Duties as a Lead Electronics Design Engineer

• Capture and analyze requirements
• Generate formal requirements and design documents
• Provide expert recommendations on design approaches and component selection
• Create detailed schematic designs with supporting calculations
• Develop test specifications for rigorous verification and validation
• Produce detailed test reports showcasing traceability from requirements to validation

Skills & Experience Required as a Lead Electronics Design Engineer

• Some experience in designing customer-deliverable electronics
• Strong grasp of micro-controller/micro-processor-based products
• Expertise in analog and digital circuit techniques
• Proficiency in simulation tools (e.g., pSpice) and schematic capture (OrCAD or similar)
• Working knowledge of C or other high-level languages (a plus)
• Hands-on experience with prototype evaluation and modification
• Familiarity with compliance testing and international standards (EN61010, EN61326)
• Experience with 3rd-party approval agencies (UL, CSA)
