MECHANICAL CAD DESIGNER JOB IN STROUD, GLOUCESTERSHIRE!!!
A multi-billion dollar international technology company is currently looking for Mechanical CAD Designer to join there engineering team in their offices in Stroud, Gloucestershire. With facilities in over 120 countries worldwide our Client is a leader in developing state of the art equipment to challenge the traditional limitations of the oil and gas industry. You will work on incredibly complex and innovative projects on a global scale. As a Mechanical CAD Designer, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining engineering project design layouts, production drawings and other related documentation. You will also have a great knowledge of manufacturing processes and methodologies as well as assembly techniques.
Skills Required for Mechanical CAD Designer in Stroud, Gloucestershire:
- Degree or HNC in Mechanical Engineering, or similar
- Experienced in producing design layouts, drawings and documentation
- Extensive experience in using 3D CAD packages, ie PTC CREO, Solidworks, Catia or NX
- Hands on DFM and DFA experience and good knowledge of manufacturing processes and methodologies
- Use of Windchill or other PLM software tool
