A multi-billion dollar international technology company is currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join there engineering team in their offices in Stroud, Gloucestershire. With facilities in over 120 countries worldwide our Client is a leader in developing state of the art equipment to challenge the traditional limitations of the oil and gas industry. You will get the opportunity to work with multidisciplined team on incredibly complexed and innovative projects on a global scale. As Mechanical Design Engineer you will support design and development of new and existing products ensuring cost effective and reliable solutions. You will also be responsible for mechanical layouts, technical reviews and documentations. Sponsorship Visa available!
Skills required for Mechanical Design Engineer in Stroud, Gloucestershire:
- Experience in Creo or a similar 3D CAD tool
- Commercial experience in a highly regulated industry, i.e. aerospace, automotive, medical, defence, or similar.
- Strong experience in complexed, detailed, high precision and high tolerance designs
- A good understanding of mechanical and/or electromechanical system design
- Experience in mechanical analysis using various tools, especially Ansys and FEA
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, coating would be highly desirable
- To hold a relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering
