Job Description

Published Description:

So, it doesn’t look like the pandemic is going to go away as quickly as we all would have hoped.

It is as important as ever to make sure businesses look after their employees.

Even before the global pandemic, my client were exploring the need to have someone in the business who can set up ways of monitoring organisational health and employee engagement.

Luckily, they have not been affected financially by the COVID crisis. They currently lead the way in the design of advanced electronics for the medical sector and their products are hugely important.

They have decided that now would be a great time to hire a People Analytics Lead to work alongside the Global HR Director so that they can make sure they are doing everything they can to provide their staff have the best support available.

The People Analytics Lead will be heavily involved in the enabling, informing, planning, and monitoring of the global people strategy. Critically, you will also provide insight-led expertise to the business and produce improvements in employee engagement, organisational health, and business performance.

You will need to have strong project management skills to be successful in this role as well as outstanding data management and advanced analytical skills. You will also need to have extensive expertise running surveys and using other data gathering tools.

This person can come from a range of industries and does not necessarily need someone already working in a People Analytics role. Strong data analytics is the most important skill you will need so if you have this, as well as a desire to help build a better way for businesses to manage their people, then this could be the job for you,

For your efforts you will receive a competitive salary and pension scheme (with a salary sacrifice option to enhance optional personal contribution). Private healthcare (including immediate family cover and annual eye test) and Life assurance (x4 annual salary). Annual leave allowance starting at 25 days which increases to a maximum allowance of 30 days. Volunteering days (paid leave) to participate in an environmental or community relations project. Enhanced maternity/adoption leave.

They also hold regular company events with food, drink & transport expensed to the company as well as various wellbeing initiatives.

If the People Analytics Lead sounds like it could be of interest, please get in touch by sending a CV to Info@octagongroup.global or by calling 01525 306225.
