My client has pioneered the design of innovative x-ray generators and controls for almost 40 years. Operating from a state-of-the-art design and manufacturing facility in Surrey, UK and with sales and service centres in the USA, China & Germany and with a worldwide network of distributors.
They currently require an experienced Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer to join their Engineering team. You will have responsibility for electronic design of analogue and high-power circuitry and interfaces, seeing projects from ‘cradle to grave’.
Key Responsibilities as a Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer:
- Generating design concepts and detailed PCB layout, circuit design, component selection, simulation and schematic capture of analogue and power circuits.
- Designing power conversion circuits & other analogue designs, considering electrical safety.
- Key Requirements as a Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer:
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar, practical design experience in Power conversion is essential
- Comfortable with analogue design
- Experience of product development cycle and production handover.
- Experience of CAD tools for Schematic Capture & PCB layout, ideally Altium or similar package.
