One of the globes largest power technology companies are searching for an SAP Solution Architect to join and support the global implementation of SAP S/4.
The Solution Architect responsible for the Global SAP S/4HANA ERP implementation and will report into the VP of Business Systems in the UK. In this Digital & Technology position, you will play a key role through the entire design and global implementation of SAP S/4 HANA across multiple sites including the US, EU & SEA / China.
Start Date – ASAP, Location – Reading / Hybrid (approx once a week onsite)
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsibility for the overall SAP solution footprint to ensure fit for business purpose (inc new items such as IBP)
- Ownership of the solution roadmap with special focus on manufacturing processes
- Ensuring cross functional impacts are considered for all developments
- Working closely with SAP and suppliers to ensure company gains maximum benefit from the SAP solution
- Running the “Design Authority” as part of the change process
- Working closely with process owners to ‘”test’ requirements before being accepted into BAU and/or project
- Working closely with project management to deliver projects
- Responsible for any integration design in / out of ERP
- Working closely with data owners to ensure overall design and data compliment
- Triage of all major support tickets to ensure an expedient fix
- Validation of all test scenarios
- Working closely with release manager to ensure compatibility of cross project release packages
- Active involvement in SAP licensing
QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive experience in the design of SAP S/4Hanna solutions with special focus on the manufacturing business flows
- Active responsibility for the design of a number of global SAP solution footprints
- Understanding of structured project delivery methodologies
- Strong analytical skills, experience solving practical issues and engaging teams of multiple process partners to consensus.
- Proficient in verbal and written English.
- Entitled (Passport and Visa) and willingness to travel.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with global colleagues at all levels including directors
- Experience of working with global multifunctional teams
- Experience of leading, coaching and developing a global team
