My client is looking for a SAP Support Manager who has experience working hands-on in the support of SAP to join their Global Business Systems Team. The role will be responsible for managing Global SAP Tickets and a small European support team, co-ordinating the resolution of all issues related to SAP Systems and ensuring its control and maintenance.
Key responsibility as a SAP Support Manager:
- Provide leadership and oversight to the Global SAP Tickets and European SAP support team.
- Co-ordinate and drive resolution of all issues reported with our core business system – SAP S4 Hana, within designated Service Level Agreements (SLAs), assisting with completion of tickets if required
- Manage and motivate a small team of support analysts to provide first line support for SAP and escalation of complex support issues to contracted support organisations
- Co-ordinate and manage to SLA the creation and modification of master data within SAP, in line with defined data governance processes
- Manage and implement small changes to SAP through support team
Qualifications needed as a SAP Support Manager:
- Educated to degree level – preferably in Business Information Systems or similar subject
- Previous experience of working in a support environment in a supervisory or managerial role
- Experience of managing SAP or support organisations
- Experience of hands on support and good working knowledge of ERP from established vendors – SAP essential (preferably S/4 HANA)
- Understanding of data governance and processes to support
- Highly self-motivated with excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently
