A very well-established and successful research and development company are seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join their team near Epsom, Surrey. As a Senior Electronics Design Engineer, you will work closely with a team of hardware, software, and mechanical design engineers to design and develop embedded electronic products and systems. The role will cover from specification and design through to testing and verification.
This job offers hybrid working with 3 days per week on site and visa sponsorship is available!
Key responsibilities of the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job:
- Design of system hardware and embedded architecture
- Analogue and digital circuit design
- Microprocessor and microcontroller embedded design
- Prototype circuit bring-up, verification and validation
- Taking ownership of the design and development of new subsystems
Key skills / experience required for the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job:
- Previous design experience involving analogue and digital electronics and embedded processors
- Knowledge of high-speed digital design – Logic, Timing, Signal Integrity etc
- Experience with SPI, UART and I2C interfaces
- Knowledge of digital audio, I2S, TDM, DSD
- Able to read and understand a circuit diagram
- Any Audio experience would be beneficial
