Senior Embedded DSP Engineer

As the Senior Embedded DSP Engineer, you will lead the charge in developing and implementing embedded DSP solutions across our diverse range of products. Collaborating with firmware engineers, DSP platform software experts, and product teams, you’ll be instrumental in creating the next generation of audio experiences.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Embedded DSP Engineer job:
- Oversee the development of embedded DSP code for various audio/music brands.
- Collaborate with DSP platform software engineers to create generic DSP algorithms.
- Develop and communicate the roadmap for DSP work, ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
- Establish best practices for DSP code development, testing, and benchmarking.
- Guide platform-specific implementations, balancing optimization, development time, and reuse.
Experience required for the Senior Embedded DSP Engineer job:
- 5+ years of experience in C/C++ based projects.
- Proficiency in C, C++, Assembly (preferred), CMake, and Git best practices.
- Knowledge of fixed-point vs. floating-point implementation constraints.
- Experience with continuous integration/deployment (Circle CI preferred).
- Proficient in developing, testing, and benchmarking real-time DSP code across different architectures.
- Familiarity with embedded software development constraints, including RTOS, embedded Linux, bare metal, and FPGAs.
- Passion for music and audio technology.
