Description

As a Senior IC Test Engineer at Power Integrations Cambridge you will work closely with our Design

teams to develop test methods for mixed signal power management ICs. You will be responsible for

test programs and test hardware to implement production test using ATE. Our clean-technology ICs

enable compact, energy efficient power solutions in everything from smart phones to electric

vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting analogue and mixed-signal power management semiconductor products

• Prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and complete the required specifications and procedures for new product development

• Ensure timely transfer of engineering and production test packages for Wafer sort and Final test to various international test sites

Competencies

• Conscientious, analytical, independent and accurate work practices and organisation • Communication skills for working in cross-functional and international teams • History of operating successfully in a high volume production environment

Requirements

• BSc Electronic Engineering or equivalent, MSc preferred. • 5 years of relevant experience in analogue or mixed signal product test engineering.

New product introduction and production support.

• C++ programming experience related to semiconductor ATE systems, preferably ETS88 or ETS364.

• Thorough understanding of analogue and digital electronics. • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods. • Business focus with strong planning, coordination, analytical and communication skills. • English fluency, other languages desirable • Occasional travel to Europe, US and Asia.
