NEW SENIOR POWER ELECTRONICS ENGINEER JOB AVAILABLE IN HAYES, GREATER LONDON
A very successful R&D organisation involved in designing and manufacturing complex low-voltage and high-voltage power supplies for aerospace, defence, and military based technologies are seeking a skilled Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join their design team in Hayes, Greater London.
As the Senior Power Electronics Engineer you will be involved in leading design and development projects from initial concept through to manufacture. This will involve ‘hands-on’ design for both low-voltage and high-voltage power supplies and associated circuits & topologies. You will gain the opportunity to be part of an established R&D team and work on incredibly critical / defensive projects.
Senior Power Electronics Engineer – job requirements:
- Strong experience in developing high-voltage power electronics and switch-mode power supplies (SMPS).
- Exposure to low-voltage power supplies.
- Ability to work on electronic design from initial concept.
- Exposure to Microwave Power Amplifiers would be beneficial but not essential.
- Experience within defence / military technologies would be beneficial but not essential.
- An academic background in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
