Octagon Group are working in partnership with an international industrial technology company in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire, in recruiting for a Senior Systems Architect. The company manufactures complex safety and security devices and sells these products into a range of global markets.
As a Senior Systems Architect you will work within a talented multidisciplinary engineering team, leading architectural decisions and developing technical and commercial requirements for core company applications. You will design software solutions for the company’s digital services and utilise your experience to address limitations within the existing system architecture, working on a hybrid basis in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire
Requirements for the Senior Systems Architect position:
- Experience in senior or leadership positions within architectural teams
- Exposure to C++, C#, SQL, Java and web scripting languages
- An understanding of the .NET 3.5 framework
- Previous experience in service orientated and microservices architecture
- The ability to outline and implement software development practices and lifecycles in a product focussed environment
