New Technical Project Manager job available near Cambridge!
A Technical Project Manager position has become available with a technology company on Buckingway Business Park, Cambridgeshire. You will be working with a multi-disciplined team and focusing on managing projects within the manufacturing engineering department to deliver new products and support existing products for one of the company’s R&D product lines.
Key responsibilities of the Technical Project Manager job:
- Project management including new product development, product continuous improvement and support of existing products.
- Maintaining robust project management principles, highlighting risks and identifying mitigating actions to ensure projects and activities are delivered on time and in budget.
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting on project performance to both internal and external customers
- Take an active role in the development of the engineering department, including novel engineering solutions and new supplier development.
Key skills and experience required for the Technical Project Manager job:
- Proven project management experience delivering successful projects
- Demonstrated experience of working with a new product introduction process
- Some 3D CAD design experience would be beneficial
- An engineering degree in a mechanical or electrical discipline would be preferred
