Test Engineer – Isle of Wight

A Test Engineer is required to join an engineering team based on the Isle of Wight. This Test Engineer role on the Isle of Wight offers hands-on responsibility for hardware testing, verification, and compliance across complex electronic products.

Role Overview – Test Engineer (Isle of Wight)

The Test Engineer on the Isle of Wight will:

• Plan and execute hardware test activities across the product lifecycle

• Develop and maintain structured test plans and procedures

• Perform functional, verification, and qualification testing

• Generate objective evidence to demonstrate compliance with technical requirements

Skills & Experience – Test Engineer, Isle of Wight

Essential:

• HND / Foundation Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or similar)

• 3+ years’ experience in a product test or compliance environment

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies

• Ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation

Desirable:

• Experience with CE / UKCA marking

• Familiarity with MIL-STD or DEF-STAN standards

• Manufacturing or laboratory-based test experience

• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance
